About Us

We are young entrepreneurs who design and manufacture in Italy high quality LED lighting fixtures, engineered and tested to last and perform in the harshest environments. We are focused on outdoor architectural lighting and architainment, but our flexibility and expertise allow us to supply LED lighting appliances for any other application as well as to design from scratch new, customized products.

We are strongly committed to be a true partner for lighting designers, architects and landscape designers helping them to achieve their personal vision and their customers’ satisfaction. “Planning, integrating, installing and operating LED lighting installations with Diamante Lighting is now smoother than ever” said one of our customers.

Research and development

At Diamante Lighting, research is the core of our technical activity: in the last decade, the lighting industry has been turned upside down with the introduction of LEDs, and it is continuously evolving at a fast pace since then. Our team of experts constantly scrutinizes emerging technologies and analyzes trends and customer needs. We adopt technological improvements after in-depth investigations and tests in order to be sure that we offer our customers only state-of-the-art and reliable products.

Manufacturing

Our manufacturing department allows us to be cost- effective and precise on large deliveries of standard products, but also gives us the flexibility to provide our customers with samples and small, customized production batches. Our factory is equipped with a mechanical workshop, electronics assembly facilities, resins or adhesives dispensing machines.

Design and engineering

Our technical team includes:

  • Graphic designers and lighting engineers
  • Mechanical engineers
  • Optics engineers
  • Electronics engineers
  • Laboratory technicians.

Quality and certifications

Diamante Lighting is ISO 9001 (2015) certified: all our processes – from design to marketing – are implemented with a focus on quality and supported by an integrated management system developed internally to fit our needs.

Our products are engineered and manufactured in compliance with European regulations:

(LVD) Directive – 2006/95/EEC
EN 60598-1: 2015 Luminaires. General requirements and tests.
EN 60598-2-5: 1999 Particular requirements – Floodlights

(EMC) Directive – 2004/108/EEC
References of standard and / or technical specifications applied for this declaration of conformity
EN 55015: 2006 + A1: 2007 + A2: 2009 Limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting and similar equipment EN 61547: 2009 Specification for equipment for general lighting purposes. EMC immunity requirements
EN 61000-3-2: 2006 + A1: 2009 + A2: 2009 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) — Part 3-2: Limits – Limits for harmonic current emissions (equipment input current <= 16 A per phase)
EN 61000-3-3: 2008 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) — Part 3-3: Limits – Limitation of voltage changes, voltage fluctuations and flicker in public low-voltage supply systems, for equipment with rated current <= 16 A per phase and not subject to conditional connection.

Ecodesign Directive – 2009/125/EC.

ROHS Directive – 2011/65/EU.

Furthermore, all our appliances are CE-certified.

Many luminaires operate with 110 V, 60 Hz for the North American markets, some are ETL-certified for the US market (see our website).
During the manufacturing process each single luminaire is tested to prove the efficiency of the electrical systems, the electronics schemes and the intrusion protection according to very strict standards. We also contribute to LEED credits, supplying the necessary documents to enable constructors and designers to certify the sustainability of energy consumption of buildings that employ our fixtures.

Customer care

Our business is based on the interaction with specifiers, installers and end-users providing assistance from the beginning to the end:

  • During the project from the selection of the luminaires to the most complex lighting calculations.
  • During the manufacturing process by adapting the products, the packaging and the logistics to our customers’ requirements.
  • During the installation out of our headquarters or on site
  • During the start-up and testing through our application engineers.
